Dulwich College

Not just a school but the flagship of an 11-strong global brand with outposts everywhere from Shanghai to Seoul, Dulwich College is a blockbuster of a place. With 1,600 boys from nursery tinies to sixth-formers, it’s all-through in the truest sense of the word and a London day-school stalwart. Dulwich is academically selective but socially inclusive. Boys are left to be boys, enjoying the benefits of single-sex education while forging close links with the girls at sister school JAGS. It celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2019 – and it’s never been in better shape....

    Bursaries
Dulwich operates a generous bursary system, awarding 191 to boys in 2019-20 worth between 10% and 100% of fees (a majority of bursaries awarded are between 75% and 100%). They are means tested and reassessed every year. As a guideline they estimate that families whose total income is £35,000 per annum or less might receive a Bursary of 100% of school fees and families whose total income is around £65,000 per annum might receive financial support of 50% of school fees. The majority of bursaries are awarded to boys joining in years 7 and 9.

Places are conditional on passing all other entrance requirements – Dulwich is highly selective and as such most successful applicants for both supported and regular places are in the top 15% of academic ability for their age group.
