Brambletye School

Brambletye is a wonderfully traditional country prep school with a husband-and-wife power team at the helm. Add to that the knockout views, the 140 acres of parkland, the school in the woods with trees to climb, dens to build, zip wires to whizz down… there’s a great sense of fun in the Brambletye air. This is a traditional but forward-thinking British prep school whose pupils experience international cultures from a young age. Children here are jumping in puddles and learning to touch-type, earning stars for their academic endeavours and drinking hot chocolate with marshmallow...

    Bursaries

A number of bursaries are offered each year to children entering Year 3 or above, of up to 100% of the fee for the duration of their time at Brambletye. There are two conditions that must be satisfied before any offer can be made - the children must show good academic and all round potential and parents must be able to demonstrate a genuine need for the financial assistance that is being offered.

To ensure criteria are met, an Assessment Day takes place in the Spring term to assess potential candidates for their suitability for the School. It should be stressed that there is not a competitive element involved in this but it is important that the School is confident that any potential bursary candidates are able to fully access the School’s curriculum.

The application process initially involves completing a Bursary Application form, Confidential Statement of Financial Circumstances, a recommendation letter from the child’s current Headmaster and a covering letter.
