Tonbridge is that rare creature: a thriving, top-of-its-game, all-boys boarding and day school that somehow manages to fly under the radar. It won’t appeal to families who want to wear the label on the outside – it is notoriously hard to land a helicopter here (we hear there has been one in the past decade), and there are no former prime ministers on its old boys’ register.
