Headmaster Jesse Elzinga arrived in September 2020 from Reading Blue Coat School, where he had a proven record of raising the academic bar. And what a hugely successful, sought-after school he is inheriting.

Academically, this has always been something of a pioneer, from introducing UCAS-recognised SSC (Sevenoaks School Certificate) subjects alongside GCSEs to becoming one of the first schools in the country to fully embrace the IB system.

    Bursaries
    Sevenoaks currently supports 33 pupils with full fee bursary awards, and around a further 28 are in receipt of a partial or temporary bursary. At least five full bursaries are available to applicants for day places in Years 7 and 9.  They estimate that a family with a gross annual income of £40,000 or less with no other resources or capital assets that could be used to pay fees would be eligible for a full bursary, although they do stress that Priority is given to those living in Sevenoaks and the immediately surrounding area.

    If there are still funds remaining after the allocation of full bursaries, partial bursaries may become available to families with a gross annual income of £65,000 or less.
