Day fees per term
Latymer offers a well-funded bursary system, with the aim that by 2024 as many as 25 per cent of students at the school will receive some form of financial assistance. Bursaries range from full fee coverage to 25 per cent, with the school using its discretion to judge each case rather than setting income thresholds. It does still require a financial statement and makes house visits, although these are usually conducted by senior members of staff rather than a third-party agency. The school also offers a uniform stipend of £350 to Year 7 entrants on a full bursary and another £250 for Year 9.
Latymer’s commitment to its bursary policy and to widening access is impressive. It is worth noting that all applicants must meet the rigorous academic requirements for entry.
