Brighton College

Everyone’s talking about Brighton College, and rightly so. This exceptional school is the highest achieving co-ed in the country, offers some of the glitziest facilities and is forward-thinking in the extreme.

This is a broad-minded, well-balanced place for bright kids. Fantastic results sit smartly alongside individual successes; ideas (and buildings) are big and bold; it’s cool to be clever; rugby players dance and stereotypes are thrown out of the window. Head Richard Cairns is as popular as the school – he clearly cares about his staff and pupils, and...

    Bursaries
Brighton offers means-tested support of up to 100 per cent fee remission to day pupils only (boarding is not covered by its bursary provision). The school is not directly academically selective when assessing bursary applications, but it does consider a pupil’s potential and expect that they would play an active part in various areas of school life.

Bursaries are offered from Years 7 to 13 and the level of support offered is reviewed every year, with the school providing ‘greater emphasis’ to those in GCSE or A- level years.
