Brambletye School

This outdoorsy school with its 140 acres of parkland, school in the woods and ‘science lab’ pond knows how to inspire children’s curiosity to learn about the world. The inspirational head Will Brooks takes a holistic approach to education, developing character traits such as emotional intelligence, kindness and teamwork as well as academics, and pupils leave ready to take on everything. Performing arts and sport are stellar and with the added bonus of an on-site nursery and pre-prep, Brambletye School really does have everything that you could want from a country prep. A...

    Bursaries

A number of bursaries are offered each year to children entering Year 3 or above, of up to 100% of the fee for the duration of their time at Brambletye. There are two conditions that must be satisfied before any offer can be made - the children must show good academic and all round potential and parents must be able to demonstrate a genuine need for the financial assistance that is being offered.

To ensure criteria are met, an Assessment Day takes place in the Spring term to assess potential candidates for their suitability for the School. It should be stressed that there is not a competitive element involved in this but it is important that the School is confident that any potential bursary candidates are able to fully access the School’s curriculum.

The application process initially involves completing a Bursary Application form, Confidential Statement of Financial Circumstances, a recommendation letter from the child’s current Headmaster and a covering letter.
