King's House School

Split across three sites on Richmond Hill (one is the co-ed nursery), this is a sterling prep overseen by head Mark Turner, who is brilliant at keeping parents up to date with school news and finding the most suitable onward senior school fit for each pupil. There is a big playground for running around at break times and a sports ground nearby. Bursaries

Bursary provision at King’s House is means-tested and awarded in the form of a discount of up to 100% of the tuition fees. These aim to broaden access to the school. Bursary awards are available to all parents/guardians of children entering any year group from Year 3 to 6. If a pupil has already secured assisted entry to an independent senior school at 13+, bursary applications may also be considered for Year 7 and 8. They can also be awarded to relieve hardship where a pupil’s education would otherwise be at risk. Bursary Administration Limited (BAL) assist in reviewing bursary application, submitting feedback to the school’s bursary committee. Scholarships are not available at King’s House.
