Sixteen-year-old Wolverhampton Grammar School student Jaipal Uppal has been chosen as one of the winners of the BBC’s Young Reporter Competition 2022. The announcement was made during last evening’s BBC One Show, with Jaipal’s report deemed the best submission for the West Midlands.
From Coast to Coast for Teenage Cancer
This half-term a group of nine intrepid Year 10 students set out on a trip of a lifetime raising funds for Teenage Cancer Trust. For the last 24 years, students at Wolverhampton Grammar School have pushed themselves to their limits completing the gruelling 170-mile ‘Coast 2 Coast’ challenge in a day.
