Thomas's Kensington

Part of the fantastic Thomas’s group of schools yet very much with its own identity, Thomas’s Kensington is smaller than its siblings, highly social and with a fairly international parent body. Set in the heart of Kensington Village, it is split between three nearby sites: the prep (ages seven to 11) is housed in two converted townhouses in Cottesmore Gardens, while the lower school (ages four to seven) is in adjacent Victoria Road. Former counsellor and forward-thinking head Joanna Ebner has been in charge since 2012 (previously she was head at the Royal School, Hampstead) and,...

    Bursaries
Thomas’s offers Foundation Bursaries that can cover up to 100 per cent of fees alongside some extras and additional costs. While these awards are usually only given to students entering Year 7, to last for the two years before the child moves on to a senior school, in exceptional circumstances they can be given to pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 or 6. Thomas’s works with recipients to help them choose a suitable senior school and apply for further bursarial support as required.

The Thomas’s Foundation also undertakes charitable work in the area and overseas, providing programmes for local primary-aged school children in the immediate neighbourhoods of Thomas’s London Day Schools, located in Battersea, Clapham, Fulham and Kensington, as well as working alongside CAIRN to provide education and opportunities for children in rural Nepal.
