    Bursaries
    King Edward VI High School for Girls offers an assisted places scheme through its partnership with the King Edward VI Foundation, offering means-tested fee remission to girls who qualify financially as well as performing highly in the school’s entrance exam (11+) or admissions interview (16+). KEHS estimates that a gross household income of less than £20,000 could entitle a girl to a free place and it is then a sliding scale to the income threshold of £72,000.

    Girls in receipt of fully funded assisted places may also be eligible for further support, including free school meals, assisted travel costs and a uniform allowance.
