    Bursaries
    King Edward’s School offers a total pool of £1.5m per year towards means-tested assisted places, with up to 25 (of which 10 are free) places available to new Year 7 entrants, as well as a small number for entrants to the sixth form. KES estimates that a gross household income of less than £20,000 could entitle a boy to a free place and it is then a sliding scale to the income threshold of £72,000.

    Boys in receipt of fully funded assisted places may also be eligible for further support, including free school meals, assisted travel costs and a uniform allowance.
