Fees and bursaries
Day fees per term
Bursaries are offered at 11+, 13+ and 16+ and are awarded on merit according to performance in the school entrance exams and interviews for outside applicants, and by rank order within the year group based on progress report grades and school exams for existing students. Students in receipt of a bursary are expected to remain in the top half of the year group in progress reports and internal examinations and may lose their bursary if they fail to achieve this. The school cites the high demand for assisted places as the reason for this policy.
The assistance is means tested and reviewed annually and the school may require a home visit or more detailed financial history from prospective pupils’ families. From 2020 they plan to introduce the Battersea Rise Trust Awards for exceptional Sixth form applicants from south west London.
