  Bursaries
  Cheltenham College Prep offers means-tested remission of up to 100 per cent of fees, and in exceptional circumstances covering extras too. The financial review is carried out by a third party and may involve a house visit, with annual subsequent reviews. The school does note that awards of bursaries from families of children entering the early years of the Prep School or the Nursery are unusual, but not impossible.
  
  The college has a strong connection with the armed forces and as such offers fee remission to children from military families, ranging from 15 per cent to 25 per cent of fees depending on rank.
