Small class sizes and highly specialised support are the key behind this Somerset senior’s strong academic results, with boys taught hard work, manners and respect from the get-go. It’s also home to one of the largest school farms in the country, where pupils can muck in tending to the pigs, chickens and flocks of ewes and help sell meat and eggs at the onsite farm shop (milk produced in the school’s dairy is sold through a local cheesemaking family).
