Bradfield College

It’s known as the ‘Bradfield bubble’: this country boarding school is forward-thinking and flexible, perfect for free spirits or hard workers, drama llamas or sports jocks. Bradfield is going from strength to strength and has seen a rapid increase in interest from London families in recent years – who wouldn’t want to educate their children in this pretty Berkshire village, tucked away from urban distractions, but within an hour of London? ...

    Bursaries
Bradfield offers a generous bursary package of up to 100 per cent means tested fee remission to families who qualify, and is openly proud of the large and often very visible contributions that pupils holding bursaries have made to both the life of the college and the wider community in recent times.

They are aware of the potential difficulties that parents could face in planning for entry to the college, since Bradfield only accepts pupils at Year 9+ (age 13) and as such aims to encourage, support and liaise with potential families over the transition years from the end of traditional primary education in Year 6 through to the end of Year 8. The college aims to give an indication of the likely level of bursarial support early in this process, although they stress that this is not a binding promise.
