Barfield Nursery

Barfield Nursery is very much part of Barfield Prep School, with the Hatchlings (age two), Owlets (two to three) and Owls (three to four) given the run of all the grounds, including a wonderful two-floor tree house fitted with windows, heating and wifi. It’s open 50 weeks a year from 8.15am to 6.15pm, which makes it popular with working parents. The older children take part in PE, swimming and forest school, while the toddlers have little beds for naps. A big teddy bears’ picnic celebrates ‘Move Up Day’, when the Owls graduate to Reception....
