This small prep in Maidenhead has a wonderful family feel, with lots of inter-year mixing and a relaxed, happy atmosphere. The new head Sarah Wallace took up post in November 2023 and is a familiar face having previously been deputy, making for a super-smooth handover. Pupils do everything with gusto, in and out of the classroom, and it really feels like their views and opinions count. And with a near 100 per cent pass rate in the Buckinghamshire 11+, all options are open to them when they leave, confident in themselves and with a kind outlook on the world. Bursaries
Highfield Prep offers means tested bursaries to all new entrants to the School in Reception through to Year 6. All applications are assessed by a third party, include a full financial history and if successful are worth up to 50% of fees. All awards are subject to an annual review.
