Thomas's Battersea

A bustling, buzzing, heavily oversubscribed co-ed with two VVIP pupils, Thomas’s Battersea is the flagship school of the terrific Thomas’s Group – and it’s rapidly becoming one of the most sought-after preps in London. But look beyond the hype and you’ll see that this is in fact a hugely down-to-earth, friendly place with a beautifully simple motto: ‘Be Kind’.

And at last, the news we’ve all been waiting for: they’re set to open a senior school just across the road in 2021. Behind the decision is the firm belief that the best senior is just a ‘grown-up prep’ – and we’re over the moon, because it means Thomas’s can finally position itself as an all-through school the whole way up to 18....

    Bursaries
Thomas’s offers Foundation Bursaries that can cover up to 100 per cent of fees alongside some extras and additional costs. While these awards are usually only given to students entering Year 7, to last for the two years before the child moves on to a senior school, in exceptional circumstances they can be given to pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 or 6. Thomas’s works with recipients to help them choose a suitable senior school and apply for further bursarial support as required.

The Thomas’s Foundation also undertakes charitable work in the area and overseas, providing programmes for local primary-aged school children in the immediate neighbourhoods of Thomas’s London Day Schools, located in Battersea, Clapham, Fulham and Kensington, as well as working alongside CAIRN to provide education and opportunities for children in rural Nepal.

For more information about the Foundation Bursaries, as well as the wider work of the Foundation, please see the school website:
