This Pangbourne prep gets the balance between rigorous academics and muddy-knee fun spot on (think playing in the woods at breaktimes). There’s full and flexi boarding from Year 3, an inclusive community feel and all kinds of accolades – especially in sports, where they are currently the British Schools Score Orienteering Champions. Last year, St Andrew's formally merged with Bradfield College – the two schools now share the same governing body and some facilities, but pupils won't get automatic entry....
