Day fees per term
A part of the Girls' Day School Trust, with around a fifth of all girls across the group receiving some form of financial assistance towards fees, Oxford High offers bursaries for entrants at Year 7 and Year 12. As a guide, they expect that a total family income of around £35,000 a year might make a girl eligible for a full bursary, with an upper limit of around £85,000. There is some consideration of academic ability in the decision to award bursaries, although once awarded a bursary it is expected to remain for the student’s entire time at the school, albeit with yearly reviews of the amount awarded.
Usually bursaries range from 100 per cent to 30 per cent on a sliding scale; scholarships (music, sport and sixth form) and bursaries can be combined. The school receives more demand for bursaries than it is able to provide, and so competition is a factor.
