Six Star Returns to Queen Anne’s School!

Actor, Annabel Marlow, alumna of Queen Anne's School returns to judge the Inter-Charter Drama competition.

Actor Annabel Marlow returned to her school, Queen Anne’s Caversham, this week to adjudicate the school’s Inter-Charter Drama Competition. Annabel, who trained at LAMDA and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama after leaving Queen Anne’s, was in the original production of the smash West End hit Six. Annabel has also just finished a two-month run playing the lead role of Dot in a sellout production of The Wizard of Oz and the Watermill Theatre in Newbury.

Annabel, who was a Drama Scholar at Queen Anne’s, declared Franklin Charter as winners of the competition. She praised all fifty of the performers for their professionalism and creativity and she said “I was amazed by the standard of what I saw! I loved my time at Queen Anne’s and all the opportunities that are on offer in the Performing Arts; it was an honour to be invited back to school”. The Lower 6 were also treated to an inspiring lecture by Annabel all about her career and pathway since leaving school. Annabel’s next professional engagement will take her to Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in the spring.
