Queen Mary’s Recognised as one of the Top Six Schools in the UK
Queen Mary’s School is delighted to have been named as one of the top six fee-paying schools with no sixth form in the UK.
Queen Mary’s School, between Ripon and Thirsk, is thrilled to have been named as one of the top six fee-paying schools with no sixth form in the UK in The Sunday Times 2024 Parent Power Schools Guide.
Head, Carole Cameron, is delighted: “This year, over 1 in 4 GCSE entries achieved Grade 8 – 9s and the excellent results highlight Value Added scores one grade higher than predictions. This marvellous achievement is a testament to great commitment and talent from pupils and teachers alike. It has allowed the girls to thrive academically and beyond. I am extremely grateful to our wonderful staff team and proud of every pupil.”
“Queen Mary’s prides itself on providing a learning environment specially designed to empower young women to unleash their full potential and ambition to become confident and independent, and to mature from the inside out. I am thrilled that our pupil numbers serve to demonstrate more than ever before our strength in understanding girls and how best to support them in this ever more complex world. Our thriving school is a place where academic excellence and extensive extra-curricular activities are found within a culture where all are challenged to do their best, serve others, show compassion and act with integrity.”
