Tipping Point star Ben Shephard judges Inter-Charter Drama Competition
Tipping Point and Ninja Warrior Star Visits Queen Anne’s!
Tipping Point, Ninja Warrior and Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard spent an afternoon at Queen Anne’s School. Ben, who was taught drama by Queen Anne’s Head of Drama, Rhodri Punter, was the guest adjudicator at the annual Inter-Charter Drama Competition.
During the afternoon, Ben enjoyed tea with Ms Purves and then went to a Q&A session with the A level Media Studies group before going on the judge the Inter-Charter Drama Competition. Ben said “it was so difficult to come to a decision about who should be the winners because the standard was high”. Eventually the trophy was won by Curie Charter!
Mr Punter said “the competition was a lot of fun and the students had just a couple of hours to devise, rehearse and polish their work before it was performed to an audience of about 300. They all did brilliantly well”.
A big thank you to Ben for judging the competition and to all charters for such brilliant performances. Congratulations Curie!
