Bangkok Patana Hosts ASE Conference

The Association for Science Education (ASE) Conference was hosted at Bangkok Patana School after a three-year postponement due to the pandemic. With 150 delegates from 40 international schools across 10 countries, all participants were excited to finally have an opportunity to come together in the pursuit of “Excellence in Science Learning for All”.

ASE is the UK’s leading professional community for Science educators, as well as a registered Charity with a Royal Charter, and has been supporting science education for over 100 years. The conference was further hosted in partnership with Philip Harris, a leader within the field of Science education that boasts over 200 years of experience in empowering science departments with high quality equipment, advice and technician training.

Our Secondary Science students helped to facilitate the event, starting with an opening speech and running some workshops throughout the day - stay tuned for some of their reflections in this week’s Patana News. At the close of the day, participants left with eager anticipation next year’s conference – we’ll be looking forward to it too!
